Visit Overview
As part of its official visit to Pakistan (7–11 September 2026), a delegation from Shanghai Pumin Technology Development Co., Ltd., accompanied by the HKH (Pvt) Ltd team, called on the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Islamabad — exploring avenues of cooperation including firm registration, local partnership and the training and exposure of Pakistani engineers.
Reception & About PEC
The delegation was warmly received by Engr. Waseem Nazir, Chairman, PEC — the statutory regulatory body for the engineering profession in Pakistan, established under the PEC Act of 1976. PEC registers engineers, consulting engineers, constructors and operators; accredits engineering degree programmes; licenses foreign engineering and construction firms; and is a full signatory of the Washington Accord and a member of the International Professional Engineers Agreement (IPEA).
