Dualization of two sections (nearly 139 km combined) of the Khuzdar–Kuchlak N-25 highway, converting congested single-lane roads into a modern four-lane dual carriageway.
Overview
Dualization of the Khuzdar–Kuchlak section of National Highway N-25 (total length 330.52 km), delivered through the ZIEC/PTA joint venture structured by HKH.
Section III
Km 102+000 to Km 171+900 — a 69.9 km package, contract value Rs 1,140.96 mn, expanding a highly congested, accident-prone route into a modern four-lane dual carriageway.
Section IV
Km 171+900 to Km 121+120 — a 69 km package, contract value Rs 12.8 bn, converting a single-lane corridor into a four-lane divided highway to alleviate traffic congestion, decrease accident rates, and build a key trade path linking Karachi, Quetta and Chaman.
Works
Asphalt laying, rock excavation, grading and deck reinforcement (Section III, May 2026); excavation at the Kalat section and compaction of the completed formation (Section IV, June 2026).
